Meet Elizabeth
I’m Elizabeth Foote, a licensed counselor working with adults seeking thoughtful, compassionate support for mental health challenges. My approach to therapy is collaborative and grounded in evidence-based practice. I believe therapy works best when it feels both safe and real—where you can bring your whole self into the room without pressure to perform, explain everything perfectly, or “get better” on a timeline. We’ll work together to understand what’s going on beneath the surface, build tools that actually fit your life, and create more space for choice, flexibility, and self-trust.
I specialize in working with adults navigating eating disorders, anxiety, depression, and OCD, particularly when these struggles show up as cycles of self-criticism, avoidance, or feeling “at war” with your own mind or body. Many of the people I work with are thoughtful, insightful, and hard on themselves—and therapy becomes a place to practice a different relationship with those parts.
Whether you’re coming to therapy for a specific concern or a more general sense that something isn’t quite right, my goal is to help you feel less alone with it and more at home in yourself.
